Value for money, cheerful and great service - I rang 3 - 4 hours ahead on my road trip to and from Sydney. On both occasions the manager waited for me to arrive after 9pm which I was very appreciative of. Thanks Motel Hay!

24 hours check in service was very handy when I checked in at 1am. I loved everything about the motel. Location, parking and staff were simply great. Had great sleep. Rooms overlook a nice garden and courtyard area. Good value for money.

Had a great stay. The staff was very nice to let me check in early. At the end of my stay, I left behind my electric toothbrush, which they kind enough to mail it back to me. Highly recommended! Will stay here again next time I am in Hay.

Rooms are excellent -clean and quiet … not a peep of traffic noise - plenty of space and an obliging Manager!

As someone who drives between Sydney and Adelaide a lot, this place was a very welcome change to my usual stopover. Cheap rooms, air conditioning, comfy beds, fully-equipped with TV and parking. An extremely pleasant surprise after almost 10 hours behind the wheel at 12am. I can't wait until the next trip, as I'll absolutely be making another booking here. Recommended to all travelers.

This is a simple no nonsense place. Clean neat, the room was on the big size. It has a nice verandah facing the road. Surprisingly it didn't have a noise problem. It's about the cheapest place in town. They have bigger newer rooms out the back, you can get a better than peg rate if you try. For what it costs and what you get I give it 5 stars.

Always my go-to motel travelling from Sydney to Adelaide, no nonsense check in anytime I arrive. Rooms are fairly priced and come with the essentials, warm bed, air-conditioning/heating, shower and a TV. If you're looking for somewhere fancy this may not be the place for you, but for a weary traveller who has been driving on the road and needs a place to stay for the night it's perfect.

I have stayed here on a regular basis for work trips. A good stop over between Adelaide and Sydney. Staff are friendly. Rooms clean. Easily accessible parking. Close to the township of Hay. Close to the main highways. Very quiet area. Always a good nights sleep. Restaurant facilities available. Wheel chair accessible. Overall excellent. Highly recommend.

It was just what I needed after more than 8 hours on the road. Great location and easy to find. The guy at reception was apologetic about me having to wait to check in. My room was tucked back a bit so didn't get as much road noise. Shower was hot and had good pressure. The AC was an older style unit but it did it's job and kept me cool while pretty much drowning out any traffic noises. Bed was comfortable and linens clean.

First time staying at this motel. My room was $140 and in the new rooms (after looking around). The room was huge with all new furniture and appliances. The bathroom was clean and tidy. Heaps of parking and great if you are travelling with a trailer. I've stayed in filthy hotels at double or more $$. I took some photos for reference. The kettle and microwave was spotless and I'll make a point of sink in the kitchenette should you feel the need for washing or if you stay a few nights. I'll happily stay again. The restaurant was Indian food, I did not dine in the restaurant, I went to the pup across the road.
